Amongst that world of beige, there lived two sisters, Shara and Dia Bubik, so creative that they were unable to live in a land so bland. Their only choice was to escape to a place where they could continue their artistry in secret. The sisters found their haven in the hidden cave their parents had long ago filled with treasures, ensuring their children all the beauty and excitement of life.

In the meantime, King Montebeige died of boredom. Queen Franda sank deeper into depression. Alone, and with no art, color, jewels, entertainment and yummy treats, she could find no happiness. The Land of Bland fell into disarray.

Meanwhile, back at Bubik Cave, the sisters cultivated the raw treasures into beautiful wares. Joyfully immersed in their creative endeavors, they were unaware of the passing of King Montebeige, the condition of the Queen, and the demise of the land. To their surprise, Izzy, their longtime friend, appeared in their caveway bearing news of the kingdom. After hearing of the Queen's miserable state, the Sisters of Bubik knew what to do! The three set out for the castle on Izzy's brilliant white horse with a carriage overflowing with dazzling adornments, bright colorful apparel and unique art. There was sugar to bake with, beans for coffee, and instruments to play.

Upon arriving at the palace, the sisters sought out the Queen and began the task of brightening her world. First presented was the stunning royal wardrobe designed by Shara, crafted from the most exquisite cloth the queen had ever seen. Next Dia spontaneously jumped onto the dais and performed a song and dance for Franda and the court. Dia then adorned the beaming queen with glimmering jeweled pendants that she made especially for her. While being serenaded by magical music, the sisters then served the queen delectable treats, and a beautiful cup of coffee brewed by Izzy. Queen Franda and her court never knew such excitement.

And so it came to pass that people from far and wide journeyed to partake in the splendor and joy of this newly prosperous kingdom. Elated, Queen Franda exclaimed, "These sisters are a bright colorful light in a sea of beige! Therefore I now dub this newly enchanted kingdom 'The Land of Bubik.'" With a big smile, The Sisters of Bubik proclaimed, "Nevermore shall the land be bland. From this day forward, all shall bejeweled, be clothed, be fed and bedazzled!"
